Is 2020 the year that you start your journey to a career in healthcare? BMI Healthcare are inviting people throughout Greater Lincolnshire to attend their next Recruitment Open Day at The Lincoln Hospital.
The private healthcare providers are welcoming people on January 25th to explore the wide range of career opportunities available within the hospital – including roles in theatre, ward, outpatient, physiotherapy and administration.
The hospital doors will be open from 10am-12pm and BMI’s Interim Director of Clinical Services, Ricardo Pinheiro, is hoping that the event will help raise awareness of the hospital’s staffing requirements while strengthening ties with the community.
He says: ‘Because we’ve expanded our services, we’re in need of staff in several area. We would welcome anyone to come in and understand what they can do in the hospital two or three years down the line, especially if they’re deciding on courses and university and so on. It’s for now and for the future as well.’
The hospital are equally interested in speaking to people who are eager to enter the healthcare sector, regardless of their education or previous work experience, and who could help fill receptionist and patient administrator roles.
’The key point for us is caring,’ Ricardo adds. ‘If someone comes in and they don’t have a clinical background or a university degree but they want to contribute to the health of the community and they want to be there for the people who are in difficult situations, they can find jobs where they will be involved in healthcare and they will be around difficult situations that they can help solve. The key point for us is caring.’
