The Visitor Economy covers a whole range of activities and skills and welcomed more than 34 million visitors to Greater Lincolnshire’s world class visitor attractions in 2017.
As the wet and windy winter of 2019 slowly gives way to what we're hoping to be a pleasant spring, the Visitor Economy becomes a burgeoning aspect of the Greater Lincolnshire landscape.
Preparations are underway to greet the increased flow of visitors to sites such as Lincoln Castle following the completion of their Magna Carta vault project, and the recently-opened Bomber Command Centre following the RAF's centenary celebrations in 2019.
Greater Lincolnshire holds a huge and rich potential for future opportunities including our unique aviation heritage and the Mayfair Pilgrims stories.
