ClubSpa@Kenwick and Babcock Training are looking for the right candidate to fill their apprentice Receptionist role

The Visitor Economy in Greater Lincolnshire brings over 17million tourists the region; which is why the 39,000 people employed in this sector share certain qualities to ensure those guests keep coming back!

And as an apprentice receptionist at ClubSp@Kenwick you could do just that! Not only will you be developing a career in the visitor economy, but you will be working for a quality employer and gaining a customer service level 2 qualification at the same time!

But what does a Receptionist actually do?

You would be on the front line when it comes to greeting and helping the guests of ClubSpa. This means you would be welcoming new and returning customers and helping them with any enquiries they may have. You will also need to manage the phones and help customers who have called with a question which will include booking appointments and treatments. So, you will have to develop a good knowledge of the goings-on at ClubSpa to best help the customers you speak too!

And what does the training involve?

Your apprenticeship training will be managed by Babcock Training; an award-winning training provider. The programme will take around 12 months and will include variety of learning including face to face training, e-learning and workplace mentoring which concludes with an end point assessment. But don’t worry! You will have a Vocational Learning advisor to support you along your apprenticeship journey. And most of the experience you will gain, will be developed every day by simply doing your job! At the end of your 12 month apprenticeship you will gain a level 2 customer service qualification, as well as a year’s worth of valuable work experience whilst earning a wage!

Am I the right person for the role?

ClubSpa are looking for an approachable candidate, who customers feel they can easily speak too. And remember, you will be managing the phones and bookings, so good organizational skills will be key here too. As with most roles in the visitor economy; you will need to be flexible, working evenings, weekends and bank holidays too.

But what would my future prospects be?

At the end of your 12 month apprenticeship programme, your CV and experience will be developed to include a variety of responsibilities and skills as well as your customer service qualification. This will really help you progress your career in the visitor economy at ClubSpa or other organistions as well!
