£10.6 billion of goods cleared through Grimsby and Immingham Ports in 2017

A visit at Immingham Port from Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Elizabeth Truss unveiled figures showing that exports from Grimsby and Immingham ports to the Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America were at an all-time high

Truss unveiled new figures whilst visiting Immingham Port on 22nd June, which shows over £10 billion of goods where cleared in 2017 through Grimsby and Immingham Ports, with exports to the Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America were at an all-time high.

The figures also show that employment in the area is now close to an all time high, with 2.59 million people in work.
