Tatums Bistro in Stamford, and looking to hire an Apprentice Commis Chef.

Is this job for me?

Being a chef is hard work, but every day you will feel reward when customers with full bellies leave the restaurant happy. And if you have a passion for food, you can get creative in the kitchen whilst working within a like-minded team.

What does this job involve?

The 40 hour week will include:

  • Ingredient preparation
  • Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
  • Plating up and presentation of food
  • Taking instruction from senior chefs
  • Cleaning and clearing down work stations
  • Working in a safe manner at all times
  • Portion control

What are my future prospects?

A great chef will always be deisred by restauants across the region, but with the Commis Chef position at Tatum's, you will also be working towards a level 2 apprenticeship qualifcation... this means you will earn your wage whilst earning a qualification to back up your experience. This will really help you furher your chef career.
